I am thrilled to be teaching a fun, non-intimidating “Be Creative” project at Beauty in Blue! It is also something that will be very well utilized by artistic gals.
It is an embellished train case. It can be used for your tools and supplies or for anything else you wish. I have one for my artful goodies and will be making another at Beauty in Blue to use in my guest room to hold snacks and goodies for visitors! We will learn some fun embellishment ideas and techniques.
Your job is to find a special train case you love and if there are any favorite fabrics or bling you would love to use, bring them also. I will have lots of trims and fabric swatches as well. I have a lot of a beautiful cream and light blue brocade fabric and will have many other fabric choices as well.
My precious friend and AMAZING artist Molly Knox will be teaching a beautiful project as well!
It’s the Beauty in Blue Boudoir Dresser tray with altered bottles! We will learn water slide decal techniques along with an interesting medium of painting the inside of the bottles.
The dresser tray will be provided for you along with lots of wonderful embellishments. Your job is to find and bring 3 or 4 fabulous bottles to alter. I think vintage bottles work the best. Bring any special jewels, bling, doll heads etc.

On Sunday, we will visit the very charming Little Blue House and create our own one of a kind art quilts! I will give all attending ladies details about this by email but right now, just think about what photo you might like to showcase on this beautiful art piece!
Those of you who attended last years event might love to think about using one of your photos taken in the bluebonnet field. Or perhaps you have a child or a grandchild you would like to showcase! I am so excited about this weekend of bliss, shopping, friendship and fun!! xoxoxo
