“Fun With Flowers” with Suzanne Locke

Spring is around the corner, and the arrival of Spring means beautiful temperatures, longer days and flowers in bloom!  

Anyone can purchase a flower arrangement from a florist or store, but wouldn’t it be special if you could use your own imagination, vases, and containers to create your own design?

This is exactly what we will do at The “Fun With Flowers” class here at The Cozy Castle.  We have timed it perfectly so that the floral piece you create can be used on your Easter table if you wish!

Meet The Floral Designer

I am welcoming Suzanne Locke who is a local floral designer.  Suzanne has completed floral design courses and has taught many classes for Garden clubs including The Garden Club of Deland.  She also designs for events and weddings. In this fun class, Suzanne will teach you the basics of design and floral care. In the end, you will take home a beautiful Spring arrangement that will welcome the season into your home!

Let the Floral Fun Begin!

Daisies or spray roses or delphinium, baby’s breath, leatherleaf fern or statice….which flowers will you choose to create your special arrangement?  Maybe you will learn of a new favorite when Suzanne teaches us all about the many different flowers springtime brings.

We will also enjoy a sweet treat  (topped with an edible flower, of course!), and a champagne toast while we share a few passages from the romantic book, “The Language of Flowers.”  Do you have a friend who may have a birthday coming up?  This “Fun with Flowers” class would be a PERFECT, different and unique gift that keeps giving! 

Dress casual and bring along an apron, the container of your choice, and a pair of flower clippers if you have them.  Everything else will be provided for you!

All ticket registrations are nonrefundable. All ticket sales end 72 hours prior to event time. If you have a personal emergency and call Karen 24 hours prior to an event, you may be able to apply your registration to a future event, per host’s discretion.
