A Holiday Inspired Artistic Weekend Retreat!
Step back in time to the historic town of DeLand, Florida for an artistic weekend of creating, shopping and exploring central Florida’s hidden gems.
Karen Hillman invites you to her Cozy Castle where holiday magic and bliss await you! Like all Cozy Castle Retreats, you will create, escape, relax and unwind! Karen strives to make her weekend retreats not just an event, but also a memorable, detailed and love-filled experience.
This getaway weekend includes three beautiful holiday art projects, and also a surprise “Make and take” project, a tour of the historic Stetson Mansion which will be decked out in holiday splendor, a “Mistletoe Mingle” wine and cheese welcome party, Continental Champagne Breakfasts and lunches on Saturday and Sunday, a Cozy Castle Christmas Dinner complete with holiday entertainment, and lots of surprises and take home gifts.

Also, you will want to save your pennies for antique shopping on this special weekend! Rennigers Market in Mount Dora (about 40 minutes from DeLand) offers their first Antiques Extravaganza of the season.
Hundreds of dealers from near and far showcase their wares! You can shop until you drop on Friday as long as you make it back in time for our “Mistletoe Mingle” evening wine and cheese party. If you choose to stay and shop local, DeLand offers a beautiful historic downtown full of sweet shops, restaurants, an antique mall and loads of thrift shops!

If you are flying, the closest airports are Orlando, Sanford, and Daytona. Sanford airport is closest and sometimes offers great fares from certain places. I have given three suggestions of local hotels near The Cozy Castle. There are many other hotels on the outskirts of town, but these are three of my recommendations that are within a mile or so of The Cozy Castle.
